Fill it up!

Joy!  Just say it and you want it.  It not only sounds good, it feels good.  Joy is something that happens deep inside that impacts our attitude and countenance.  Joy is something that you cannot fake and it is also something that you cannot hide.  A joyful person makes others feel better because joy is designed to overflow.  It is a supernatural trait of the Spirit that is available to all followers of Christ.  It is so powerful that it has enabled countless humans to suffer brutally in the face of martyrdom and rejoice in the midst of it.  We need more joy in our world and the only way to get it here is through people like us.  Joy is poured from heaven to earth when a person exercises faith in Christ.  Look for an opportunity to trust Him and FILL UP!  Do you believe?

Acts 16:34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God–

I have experienced the most amazing times of joy in my walk with Christ in some of the toughest moments of my life. I remember the INCREDIBLE joy I felt – and they were some of my darkest hours. It was as if I was in the arms of my Savior – it was definitely His supernatural power that allowed me to feel absolute joy during those times. I love being around people that are filled with joy – and it comes pretty easy when you focus on Jesus 1st – Others 2nd – You last J-O-Y… It’s definitely when I have the most joy – when I’m doing that. And yes – those times where I’ve stepped out on faith – I’ve always felt Joy!
