27 People Join HC Community

Last night I taught our memebership class and 27 people joined the Harrah Church community. That ‘s encouraging! I am so humbled and honored that these people trust me enough to place themselves underneath my pastoral care. I pray that the Lord would help me be an example first and foremost with the leadership of my family. I want my shelter to shine as an example for all to follow me as I follow Christ.  I commit to these people and the entire Harrah Church community that I will strive to be a godly husband and father.  I also pray for wisdom to lead these and all the rest of the incredible people who are commited to building Christ’s church in this community.  Harrah Church is certainly stornger and healthier because of these commitments.

That’s very exciting news! Our not-so-small group was down last night because most of them were in that class. I am very excited about what the Lord is doing. I’m very thankful that you are the example you are to all of us. The Lord has entrusted these people to our care and that’s pretty special.

Sorry it’s been awhile since I have posted. Twenty-seven people are a substantial amount. Maybe with the economy, it is pulling people back for answers, directions, or something to look forward to when there is so many problems right now. I have been to church many of times with my wife, but did not like the way they spoke the bible. There are numerous answers that I have had over years of my life that Jimmy started answering week to week. Even after today they were answered, and that is what has gotten me most excited. You sometimes think Was God just speaking to me” or “Was God pulling me to that church right at the perfect time”. Not sure which one it was, I am just glad that God pulled me towards Harrah Church, the people at Harrah Church and most of all Jimmy.

I hope you will have many more classes with this number.
The Holy Spirit helps the church to keep reeling them in.
    I am enjoying being involved.
