Someone recently asked me if God would use a seer to guide them.  Here is my answer.

Before leaving the topic of gossip I would be remiss if I didn’t share my strategy for avoiding it.  The most important thing to be aware of when it comes to gossip is myself.  I am the main catalyst for propagating harmful talk.

Lets face it gossip is a reality in the church.  It has been since the church started 2000 years ago.  That is why James writes about it.  It is destructive and we must be aware of it.  One may be inclined to think that something is going on around me that caused me to write [...]

I hate gossip!  It is so far from the character of God and it breaks my heart to see His people participate in it.  James says it sets the whole course of a persons life on fire and the fire originates in hell.

Here is an email I had in my in box yesterday.  It is powerful so I wanted to share it.  I have removed the names for sake of confidentiality.

The Word of God is Powerful.  I am amazed by the transformation it produces in my life.
