No I don’t think this is the same thing as a prophetic gift. This is simply the promise of God’s protection and while I cannot confirm exactly what happened in your experience I have often felt that something was watching over me. I believe the Spirit or angels still speak to people in a protective or intuitive sense. On two different occasions I was driving and and had a terrible thought or vision of me swerving to miss a deer and also one of actually hitting a deer, crashing into a tree and dying. I slowed down from my normal 60mph every where I go speed only to find, less than a minute later a herd of deer running out in front of me. I knew that was God. Is that the same thing as prophetic gifts?

That depends on how one defines the terms, prophetic gift, apostolic leader, and priestly duty. Casey I cannot answer your questions without understanding what you mean by those terms.

So people no longer have prophetic gifts? Is their no longer apostolic leader or priestly duties?
