When Things Seem To Worsen 2

When things seem to worsen we must not only be at our best we must also trust God’s sovereignty.   As a young man God gave Joseph a dream of making an impact with his life.  For 30 years his life seemed to head straight downhill at breakneck speed. During this period God never explained to Joseph why this was happening to him.  He had every reason to become bitter and doubt God’s love.  But he didn’t he trusted God through it all and years later everything became clear.  He ends up ruling Egypt and answers only to Pharaoh.  He leads the nation through a famine and eventually gets his family back.

NAU Genesis 45:7 “God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to keep you alive by a great deliverance. 8 “Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Never forget these two things when you are facing difficult circumstances.

1.  Pain has a purpose

2.  God will redirect through broken dreams

Hold on to God−He is sovereign and you can trust Him!

I just read about joseph not too long ago but I neede to hear this! Going through some stuff of my own it nice to be reminded there is a bigger reason and that I always have someone right beside me to help me make it through! Thanks :)

Yes, pain does have a purpose and you can choose to trust God and grow closer to Him, be positive and make the most of the situation – or you can be destructive, negative, downtrodden and get further away from God and make things far worse than they have to be. Clinging to God is the only way to go!! He brings beauty from ashes.
