The mission of Harrah Church is to fully develop people in Christ.  Healthy development requires people to be self-feeders.  We cannot fully develop by listening to a sermon or two a week.  We must be willing to go deeper.

Due to a couple of questions regarding my last post I wanted to elaborate.  I would never intentionally distance myself from someone who was seeking answers about Christ.

Apollos was a spiritual giant in the early church.  He was a first century Christian apologist that spoke with great fervor.  The Greek word Luke chooses in Acts 18:25 is zeo—Apollos boiled hot for God.

I was reading in my journal this morning and today is the anniversary date of Harrah Christian School’s first day of class.  The following is an excerpt from 09-02-08:

Could somebody please sign up to help?  Recruiting volunteers has never been difficult for me personally but I have noticed that there are several leaders inside our ministry who struggle with getting people to make the commitment.
